    This delicious choc fudge pudding is ideal for a Sunday afternoon.

    A lovely gooey fudge center and can be served with ice cream or custard.

      • 1 cup Cake flour
      • 45ml Cocoa powder
      • 10ml Baking powder
      • 1 Extra large egg
      • 3ml Salt
      • 160ml Castor Sugar
      • 30ml Butter (melted)
      • 250ml Milk
      • 5ml Vanilla essence
    • 45ml Cocoa powder
    • 200ml Castor sugar
    • 375ml Boiling water


    • Preheat oven to 180°C.
    • Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Then add sugar.
    • In a separate bowl mix butter, milk, egg and vanilla essence. Add to dry ingredients and mix well until smooth.
    • Pour mixture into a greased medium ovenproof dish.
    • For the topping – mix the cocoa and castor sugar.
    • Mix the cocoa and castor sugar. Sprinkle over the dough.
    • Pour boiling water over the top.
    • Bake for 45 minutes.
