This week my Sunday Photo features the beautiful Kraalbaai. A hidden gem situated in the West Coast National Park. In order to access this beach you need to drive through the nature reserve. You sure to catch a glimpse of ostriches, tortoises, gemsbok and eland. However there are many more other wildlife in the park – so be on the lookout.
Kraalbaai beach is breathtaking, with its beautiful aqua colour water and surroundings; it is tranquil and peaceful. This beach is lovely for swimming as the water is calm. Note that it gets very busy during the summer season; so it is best to go off peak times.
Often frequented by those who love water sports like water skiing, speedboats, sailing, canoeing and wind surfing. Luxury houseboats are also launched from this beach. This self catering accommodation offers you perfect views of the lagoon.
Make sure to put this on your list of places to visit.
In case you missed last week’s – My Sunday Photo.

Hi Noleen, you live in such a beautiful country! I spent a couple of years living in the Eastern Cape, near Jefferies Bay. My husbands family used to take us out and about, but I’m not sure if we ever visited Kraalbaai. It looks stunning and the sea so calm!
