This delicious choc fudge pudding is ideal for a Sunday afternoon.
Choc Fudge Pudding

A lovely gooey fudge center and can be served with ice cream or custard.

Ingredients

- 1 cup Cake flour
- 45ml Cocoa powder
- 10ml Baking powder
- 1 Extra large egg
- 3ml Salt
- 160ml Castor Sugar
- 30ml Butter (melted)
- 250ml Milk
- 5ml Vanilla essence
Topping
- 45ml Cocoa powder
- 200ml Castor sugar
- 375ml Boiling water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Then add sugar.
- In a separate bowl mix butter, milk, egg and vanilla essence. Add to dry ingredients and mix well until smooth.
- Pour mixture into a greased medium ovenproof dish.
- For the topping – mix the cocoa and castor sugar.
- Mix the cocoa and castor sugar. Sprinkle over the dough.
- Pour boiling water over the top.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
