    Creamy Sago Pudding

Winter is a time for comfort foods and there is nothing more delectable than having a warm dessert. My mom’s creamy sago pudding is definitely a winter favourite. Served with custard this winter dessert is on my list of comforting desserts along with chocolate, bread and butter, apple crumble, sticky toffee and ginger pudding.

There are many variants of making sago pudding but my mom’s recipe requires no baking. This recipe is super easy to make. My mom shared this recipe with me and now I’m delighted to share it with you.

    Find recipe below.

Just a note- eggs are not listed in the ingredients but are used throughout the recipe.

Hi! I am going to attempt to make this recipe (will be my first time ever trying to make sago). For how long after you have made it, can it be stored in the fridge?

Hi it can last up to 3 days in the fridge. However, I doubt that you will store it that long as it is so delicious. My family eats it up the same day or if there is leftover, it is only for 1 or 2 small helpings. All the best and the weather is perfect for sago.

Thank you for sharing Noleen. Please can you tell me how much milk you soak the sago in because the recipe says add more milk while cooking – so what amount in the recipe is for soaking and for cooking? Thank you – have started soaking it in 1 litre of milk so hope that’s right. ????
